Asite Navigator – The Missing Link
The Navigator is an innovative client application (i.e. installed on your PC) that removes the need for you to manage files manually between your office and your collaboration environment.
It integrates your own systems with the Asite Platform and introduces a completely new way to collaborate online by removing the manual work involved in uploading and downloading documents. Asite Navigator is the missing link in simplifying construction collaboration.
The Navigator tells you what you need to do! It tells you when files you have saved locally (i.e. offline) have been revised on the Web application (i.e. online), and vice versa. It even reminds you to upload the document you have just updated by highlighting any local files which are not on the web collaborative environment. Navigator does the thinking for you!
Asite Navigator allows you to check files in and out for offline editing. It will stop other users updating the document while you are working on it, reducing conflicts and allowing you to maintain documents offline in a controlled environment. Asite Navigator is a truly modern document control facility, enabling the synchronisation of online and offline useage.
