Business Development Manager - SaaS Software

   

Based in London's "Silicon Roundabout", Asite is at the cutting edge of enterprise cloud computing and has built a leading position across the world. We’re looking for a SaaS Sales Professional to join our team and help drive our future sales growth. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful team in a sector with huge potential for a proactive professional sales approach.

 

You will have experience of B2B software solution sales and we will expect focused commitment. We need a vibrant individual who can work with our prospects to design solutions to their requirements. The position will be London-based and travel, primarily in the UK, will be required.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Generate significant new business for Asite by opening and closing new opportunities.
  • Achieve new business sales targets.
  • Build relationships with the clients you win to develop cross sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Support the development of our positioning to increase close rates and reduce lead times.
  • Report, build and manage your sales pipeline and forecast with frequency as required.
  • Maintain records in CRM (Salesforce) at all times.
  • Maximise referrals and testimonials.
  • Work closely with Marketing team to coordinate effective go-to-market campaigns.
 

Skills & Requirements:

  • Excellent new sales person and strong track record.
  • Persistence, attention to detail, interest in efficiency.
  • Strong understanding and experience of strategic selling.
  • Able to manage complex buying processes and the influences required.
  • Analytical, adaptable/flexible, risk aware and opportunistic, strategic thinking/visioning, strategic agility, communication, listening skills, persuasion, enthusiasm and execution.
  • Creativity (to set an outcome and remove/get around any roadblocks and bottlenecks in your way).
  • Good organisation and planning.
  • Ability to work in a team and develop others.
  • Proactive approach to work, setting and upholding high standards.
  • Enterprising / entrepreneurial
