Portal - Core
A customisable portal giving you the power to make the information stored in Asite work for you.
The Asite Portal and its “My Home” tab is your start-point with Asite. Once you sign-in it gives you the power to organise the information displayed in the way you want it. Each tab in the portal is customisable and can be amended to a dashboard view using “Portlets”. A Portlet can pull information from another Asite application or even other systems. There is a library of Portlets that you can add to your own page to customise it to meet your exact requirements. If one tab isn’t enough, then you can add your own personal tabs to create additional dashboards.
You can also use the portal to access other Applications such as Workspaces, which gives you a quick and easy way to get to all information stored in Asite. However you need to view information, the Asite Portal can be configured to give you the exact view you need - Making your information work for you.
Portlets you can use to customise your Portal include:
- Announcements - The Announcements portlet will display important system information from Asite.
- Favourite Workspaces - Giving you instant access into the Workspaces you use most.
- My Actions - Providing a graphical view of your actions across all of your Workspaces.
- My Reports - Access all of your Reports from this easy to use interface
- Report View - If you want to see a Report on your tab, you can use the report viewer to run and display a report within the page.
- Company Directory - Quickly search the Company Directory to find a company using the quick search tool
- Weather - Show weather in any number of locations within the weather portlet
- Workspaces on Google Maps - A Google maps view of the location of all of your Workspaces (Driven by Workspace address zip/postcode). Working on projects around the globe? Now you can access your project’s Workspace by finding it on the map!
