Asite competes in Charity Football Tournament

The Asite team are participating in Berkeley Homes Five-a-Side Charity Football Tournament in aid of Demelza Hospice Care for Children. The event kicks off this Friday 13th of September and will host up to 30 other Construction Industry Companies in Wembley.

The Berkeley Foundation has been established to use Berkeley’s standing as a leading developer to improve the lives of and opportunities for young people, their families and communities. The main strategic focus is on supporting young people in London and the South-East, particularly those not in education, employment or training. We believe there is a direct connection between their fortunes and the success of the places and communities in which Berkeley works. Since its inception, the Foundation has invested over a million pounds in 30 separate charities. With your support through events such as the Berkeley Homes (Urban Renaissance) 5a-side football tournament, we can continue to help tackle some of the big social issues facing our society.

Demelza South East London is a 6-bedded hospice providing a large range of hospice and care services to children, young people and their families. Life-limited or life threatened children or young people and their families benefit from a wide range of facilities that include the use of multisensory and soft play equipment. When a child reaches the end of their life the Demelza Community Team can offer 24 hour end of life care at home followed by bereavement support to members of the family, as required.

Asite are proud to take part in this unique networking event, and look forward to potentially winning the tournament!
