Liverpool City Council selected Grosvenor as the developer for The Paradise Project, with Laing O'Rourke chosen as the 'preferred construction partner' for the large scale development site. The forty-two acre urban regeneration project located in the heart of Liverpool completed in 2008, in time for the City to become the European Capital of Culture.

Asite was deployed in the early stages of planning, at Grosvenor's request, to enable the project teams to share information during the multiple planning applications. As the project grew, Asite Project Workflow was implemented in a hierarchical structure whereby a top-level Masterplan Site allowed the overall scheme information to be available to all members of the project team.

Adopting Asite in the early stages of the project during Stage C where the volume of the documentation was relatively low and complexity had not yet developed, ensured that document systems were defined and carried through the whole project.
