Position: Sales Executive

Location:  Melbourne, Australia

 

Asite is looking for a talented Sales Executive to drive growth throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. Working in-office or remotely and reporting directly to the Vice-President of Sales in APAC, you will be a critical influencer of the overall growth of Asite alongside a talented and knowledgeable team. Asite is fast-expanding its presence across the Asia-Pacific Region, experiencing immense growth on a global scale, and shaping the future of cloud-based construction project management.

We are looking for a tenacious Sales Executive with proven experience of managing prospects throughout their purchasing journey, and optimising sales techniques to help develop the best solution and close deals.

This role will suit a sales professional with experience of software solution sales in a B2B arena with a proven sales process. We expect an extraordinary attention to detail and top-notch communication abilities as a given. We need a vibrant individual who can work with our customers to design solutions to their requirements leveraging the Asite platform.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Help drive growth of Asite by closing deals with prospects.
  • Conduct platform demonstrations to prospects and showcase the Asite platform.
  • Identify and develop your own go-to-market strategy for your respective regions and work with the marketing team to implement this strategy.
  • Develop and execute proposals aimed at providing the best solution for prospects.
  • Achieve all individual sales targets set by the company.
  • Work with the Inside Sales Representatives to conduct research on prospective leads.
  • Work with Salesforce and HubSpot CRMs to document sales activities where appropriate.
  • Work with the marketing team to manage the relationships between Asite and prospects within your region to nurture them throughout the sales funnel.
  • Attend sales meetings, work closely with the marketing team, and keep current with all product information, pricing and contract terms.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of direct sales experience in the B2B market with demonstrated success in solution sales domains such as enterprise software, consulting services, etc.
  • Experience selling to C-Suite Execs of large enterprise-sized companies.
  • Industry knowledge; construction, engineering, mining, oil, gas
  • Demonstrated experience developing new business relationships at all levels of enterprise organisations.
  • Exposure to project management software, eProcurement, supplier relationship management, supply chain management and ERP implementation projects will all be a plus.
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on industry topics including Software as a Service and Cloud Computing - and to apply them to a prospect's business domain
  • Ability to close sales with the most appropriate sales process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on sales acumen
  • Must have the skills to develop relationships quickly and with prospects/customers at all levels
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven, ever-changing environment
  • Full driver's license and the ability to travel both locally and internationally.
  • Diligent when working to both personal and team deadlines.
  • Strong technical aptitude
