Asite Launches AI Platform to Put Project Intelligence at Architects’ Fingertips

New Asite for Architects platform gives practices secure AI-powered search, information management and browser-based model review, helping reduce software license costs.

London, UK – [3rd September 2026] – Asite, the cloud-based platform for managing information across building and infrastructure projects, has launched Asite for Architects, an AI-powered solution designed to help architectural practices find, manage and make better use of the information they produce. 

As part of the launch, Asite has partnered with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to bring Asite for Architects to architectural practices, supporting information management across RIBA Plan of Work Stages 1–4, from preparation and briefing through to technical design. 

Architects and their teams can spend significant time searching across email, SharePoint and specialist systems for the drawings, documents and models they need. Asite for Architects uses AI to bring the right information to the surface when it’s needed, helping practices make faster decisions, collaborate more effectively and spend more time on fee-earning design work.

AI that puts project information at architects’ fingertips 

With Asite for Architects, users can ask questions in plain English across current and past projects. The relevant drawing, revision and issue history can then be surfaced in seconds, pulling from across the practices systems, helping teams avoid hours spent searching through folders and systems.

The platform provides a secure, governed and auditable record of practice information, with permissions ensuring users only access what they are authorised to see. It also provides a record of what was issued, when and to whom, helping practices maintain greater control over project information. 

Asite for Architects works alongside existing project tools, including email and Microsoft SharePoint, and internal file servers, connecting information without requiring practices to replace the systems they already use. 

Review, collaborate and reuse work

Practices can also review and share 3D models directly in the browser across 40+ file types, without requiring expensive software licences simply to view files. Asite’s BIM viewer enables teams to interrogate models, raise snags and take measurements. 

The platform also helps practices surface and reuse existing work, enabling teams to make greater use of the knowledge and information they have already created.
