Product Designers

At Asite we are looking for hands-on UI/UX Product Designers with a passion for simplifying complex workflows to join our product team in the construction tech space. Our platform empowers contractors, project managers, and field teams with tools for managing projects, documents, schedules, and compliance—all in one place.

You’ll be instrumental in creating intuitive, web and mobile-friendly interfaces that work just as well on a jobsite tablet as they do on an office desktop. This role is perfect for a designer who enjoys tackling real-world, high-impact problems and designing for users who aren't always sitting at a desk.

Successful candidates should be vibrant individuals with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS solutions, with strong design and research skills, who can work in an agile methodology to realize every opportunity for providing value to our customers. We expect an extraordinary attention to detail from all members of the Asite team.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, user goals, user interface problems and technical constraints into well-thought-out, usable design solutions, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI.
• Design user-centric, web and mobile-responsive interfaces for construction-specific workflows (e.g., CDEs, RFIs, inspections, schedules, submittals).
• Conduct user research and usability testing with construction professionals to validate design decisions.
• Build and maintain a robust design system aligned with the needs of web and mobile users.
• Continuously iterate on design solutions based on real-world usage, analytics, and feedback from field users.
• Advocate for enterprise user needs and ensure usability across varying roles, permissions, and workflows common in B2B SaaS.
• Advocate for accessibility and simplicity in environments where connectivity and time are limited.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Product Researchers and Developers to incorporate user insights, behavioural data, and customer feedback into designs.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system to maintain consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the platform.
• Have a proactive role in continually improving the process.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience designing web and mobile applications; B2B SaaS experience preferred.
• Practical experience across different product design methodologies, including information architecture, usability testing, interaction design, and user research, with a strong focus on delivering intuitive and user-centred solutions. Good command of design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.
• Experience designing for complex, multi-user workflows, dashboards, and data-heavy interfaces.
• Strong portfolio showcasing product design work, preferably with examples from construction, industrial, or field-service tools.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Experience guiding product discovery efforts and turning insights into actionable design outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders.
• Understanding of construction project lifecycles, field conditions, and contractor workflows.
• Experience with mobile-first or offline-first design strategies.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS/React).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork skills especially with a “can-do” attitude
