Last week, Asite was thrilled to welcome a handful of customers to our London HQ for the Customer Forum 2026.
This blog explores some of the highlights from the day, including stories shared by Transport for London, Sizewell C, and UCL.
The next chapter for Asite, shaped by customers
Asite's Chief Strategy Officer, Mahmoud Hleihel, opened the afternoon by discussing Asite's strategy and transformation. Every project faces growing pressure on cost, regulation and delivery speed, and AI is changing how businesses operate. He set out how Asite will protect and modernise what customers rely on today while building what they will need tomorrow, using AI, data and industry expertise.
Josh Myers, Director, Major Accounts, then covered the product roadmap, showcasing an insight into our biggest product push to date. Then product owners, including Chief Digital Officer, Dr Jozef Dobos, presented deep dives into the exciting developments coming to the platform, including new AI capabilities and tools for managing projects and work. These sessions received an incredible amount of interest and kickstarted some insightful conversations.
Hearing from our customers
Later, we heard from three customers using Asite to support large, complex work: planned works at Transport for London, the delivery of Sizewell C, and the management of a university estate at UCL.
How does Transport for London move planned works off spreadsheets?
Transport for London is moving its planned works process off spreadsheets, which can be corrupted and put data integrity at risk. Hiten Anand, Senior Compliance Manager, shared how the new platform will bring planning, resource booking and supplier performance into one place. It will include weekly look-ahead schedules, live daily updates and lone worker monitoring.
Bringing thousands of users on a secure project
Sizewell C is delivering one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes, with more than 4,000 users expected by the end of 2026. Naomi Gilford, CDE Manager, explained what that looks like in practice. Several programmes, each with its own standards and level of digital experience, all feed one project record. Asite gives teams and suppliers a shared place to collaborate and prepare information. A common metadata framework means everyone describes that information in the same way.
Two lessons stood out for anyone taking on a project at this scale. Agree standards early, because they are much harder to retrofit across a large supply chain. Focus on adoption, because getting people to change how they work takes more effort than the technology itself.
Bringing £12m of minor works into one live view
UCL runs one of the world's largest university estates, with more than 250 buildings and £170m of projects a year. Joe Jones, Head of Data and Digital Estates, focused on minor works: up to 600 jobs and £12m of spend annually. Those jobs lived across Planner boards, emails and spreadsheets, so a status update meant chasing project managers. Each job now has one form in Asite. Quotes, compliance checks and site visits run in parallel, and PMO dashboards show live data.
What we are hearing from the industry
Customers sit at the forefront of what we do. It was great to hear how Asite is supporting projects of this scale, and the conversations that took place on the day will help us support and grow in the future. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Transport for London, Sizewell C and UCL for sharing their work so openly.
