Lead Project Information Manager, Global Tier 1 Contractor
Background
A Global contractor was appointed to deliver a £555 million stadium project in Liverpool, from pre construction through construction and final handover. The project involved more than 200 work packages and a large, multi-stakeholder supply chain, generating significant volumes of information throughout the lifecycle.
To support this complexity, the contractor required a secure, ISO 19650 compliant platform to manage tendering, issue controlled work packages, and final handover. Clear auditability, strong information governance, and real-time visibility of information delivery were essential to reduce risk, prevent scope disputes, and maintain programme certainty.
Solution
The contractor used Asite workflows and API Bid Management and CDE to centralize tendering, information management, and handover activities. Bid Management provided a fully auditable tender process with all submissions, communications, and approvals automatically time-stamped and recorded. ISO 19650 aligned templates, workflows, and permissions enforced consistent information standards across 200+ work packages. Automated Power BI dashboards, fed daily from Asite, provided real-time visibility of submissions, QA status, and progress, while Asite's API automated the transfer of approved documentation into the client's handover platform, eliminating manual uploads and reducing risk.
In this case study, learn how the contractor worked with Asite to:
- Manage 200+ work packages using an ISO 19650 compliant CDE
- Deliver a complete digital audit trail for tendering and information management
- Gain real-time visibility of information delivery to reduce risk, delays, and scope disputes
