Business Development Representative

Position: Business Development Representative/Pre-Sales/Inside Sales - (NCR)

Location: Delhi, NCR with the possibility of relocation to Ahmedabad, ASITE's India H.O.

Required Education: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Graduation with experience/knowledge of Construction Industry

Required Experience: 0 to 3 years exp. in selling products and services to construction / real estate industry

 

The Business Development Representative is responsible for assisting the Sales team on all presales activities such as helping to build the company’s outbound pipeline through a variety of resources, such as automated outreach, campaigns, and follow up calls. The BDR will need to become an expert on the product and closely familiarise him/herself with the industries Asite caters to. The BDR’s goal will be to identify new business development opportunities across various companies and verticals and build initial relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, and build a healthy pipeline of sales qualified opportunities.

Job Description

    • • Support Sales Head through a variety of tasks related to product demos, pre-sales, sales and communication with prospective clients/leads.
    • • Execute the sales strategy under the guidance of the sales head.
    • • Assist and support the team in achieving the sales outcomes and goals/targets.
    • • Provide support in pre-sales and lead generation activities.
    • • Explore opportunities to setup meetings and demos with qualified leads.
    • • Create lead and meetings tracker and follow-up with clients to schedule calls/meetings/demos.
    • • Explore & convert some new customers in verticals such as Construction and Real Estate Industry among others where Infrastructure
    • • Development or Construction Project Activities takes place.

REQUIREMENTS

    • We are looking for a motivated and well-organized Business Development Executive/Representative to perform multiple pre-sales and inside sales tasks.
    • Providing support to the sales team to ensure efficient management of sales activities.
    • Willing to learn about a new product, customer, market, region & cultural exchange.
    • Understands Software as a Service space.
    • Independent work handling capability.
    • Willing to travel at client site in case required.
    • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
    • Good to have knowledge about Salesforce and HubSpot – CRM Tools.
    • Ability to handle the customers by calls/emails and give product presentation/demo to clients.
    Ability to communicate and work with internal & external customers

REQUIRED SKILL SET

    • Good communication skills: Clear and concise communication both locally and globally.
    • Extremely organized and the ability to sell and convince.
    • Ability to build relationships and customer-oriented.
    • Understanding of the Construction and Real Estate Industry will be a plus.
    • Salesforce/HubSpot/CRM and LinkedIn knowledge.
    • Self-driven and able to work with different teams.
    • Know the basics of sales management.
    • A commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both internal & external customers.
    • Lead Generation and Reporting skills.
    • Prioritization and Problem-solving abilities.
    • Passion for technology.
    • Familiar with MS Office and Internet.
